Racism has defined relationships in America since the shortly after the arrival of the Europeans on this continent. Indentured servants both white and black rebelled against harsh treatment by the land-owners. Seeking to disempower the rebellion, the land-owners offered Europeans land and freedom if they help to enforce the enslavement of the African. Thus, racism was formed by our ancestors and still it lives among us today.
These pages offer different perspectives on racism. My hope is that through understanding our history we can create a different future.
